Rental Policies
Rental charges are based on the number of calendar days that equipment is reserved for, regardless of usage. A two-day minimum charge applies to all overnight rentals. Rates are shown in Canadian funds. Harmonized sales tax (HST) is extra.
Reservations are essential for outfitting packages and highly recommended for multi-day canoe, kayak and SUP rentals. Walk-up rentals are possible, availability permitting. Credit card information (Visa, MC, Amex) will be taken on arrival and is required for any rental. If you do not have a credit card, be prepared to leave a cash deposit (debit cards accepted) and present valid photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc).
Cancellations
Full refunds of deposits or other payments are possible for reservations, if cancellation requests are made by phone or email in advance of scheduled arrival dates, according to the following deadlines: 72 hours before equipment rentals; 10 days before outfitting packages and guided day trips; 15 days before custom guided outfitting packages. Payments can be transferred to new dates, if reservations are rebooked in advance of refund deadlines. Cancellation requests made earlier than the deadlines are appreciated!
When reservations are cancelled after the above deadlines, cancellation fees equivalent to deposit payments are retained: $50 for one or two watercraft; $25/watercraft for three or more; $25 for equipment with no watercraft; $25/person for guided day trips; $100/person for outfitting packages; $95 for water taxis.
Refunds will usually be made through our online reservation system and applied to the same credit card that was used to secure the original booking. Please note that a refund may take a few days to be fully processed.
Discounts
Scouts, schools, camps and church youth groups can take advantage of our special “non-profit youth group rates.” Please inquire.
