Snowshoeing Events
So many Muskoka visitors appreciate and enjoy its summers.
It's unfortunate that so many do not get out and enjoy its
winters. Practically every summer hiking trail converts
to either a Nordic ski trail or even better, a wonderful
place to get out and explore by snowshoe. Muskoka is truly
a winter wonderland in the winter, with its frozen rivers
and lakes and a clean blanket of fresh snow covering everything
it's one of the most beautiful sights to see.
Like many of the events at Algonquin Outfitters,
everyday is a good day to go snowshowing. It doesn't matter
if you just get out for an hour or two on the Ragged Falls
trail just up the road from our Oxtongue Lake location.
Or if we're helping you plan and outfit a multi day snowshoeing
trip in Algonquin Park, it's all just great winter fun.
If you haven't snowshowed before, you should
consider coming out for our Winter Fun Day in February every
year, at Oxtongue Lake. We always host a great wilderness
snowshoe hike up to Ragged Falls along the Oxtongue Lake
River.
