Day Trips - Annie Bay Discovery

This unique Water Taxi assisted day trip is ideal for groups who wish to spend a day exploring, fishing or just out for a relaxing day on the water. Spend the day with family or friends, discovering one of Lake Opeongo's secluded hide-aways. Annie Bay is a beautiful wilderness area at the east end of Lake Opeongo that is rich in history.

Departing from our store at the South end of Lake Opeongo, a short water taxi ride will bring your group to the mouth of Annie Bay in Lake Opeongo's east arm. Leaving you ample time for exploring the beautiful beaches, rocky points and headwaters of the Opeongo River on your own time schedule.

Our Water Taxi will return at a predetermined time to pick you up and return you to our base after a relaxing day of exploring.

Departure Times

Available any day throughout the season (May 1 - mid Oct.). A range of departure and pickup times are possible, please call the Opeongo Store (1-888-280-8886) to check availability. While reservations are highly recommended, self-guided trips are available without reservations. Guided trips are available by advance reservation only. You do not need to book any permits or make any extra arrangements for canoe rentals. An Algonquin Park day pass is required for parking.

Includes canoe rental, safety equipment, water taxi service, map and lunch. This is a very “family-friendly” experience that starts right at the Opeongo store. Reservations are suggested but not required.
