This page contains links to on-line forms that can be filled in and submitted immediately or PDF versions you can print and submit later by fax or regular mail. Have You Made Park Permit Reservations?
Making a reservation with us does not mean that you have made a reservation for camping permits. See our Canoe Trip Planning Guide for details on park permit reservations.

Reservations For Oxtongue Lake, Opeongo & Huntsville
Advance reservations with deposits are essential for complete outfitting, guided trips and group rentals for canoes and equipment. Reservations for canoe rentals are also necessary for holiday weekends and busy summer weekends. We do not take reservations for small amounts of equipment without a canoe rental. Algonquin Outfitters has a large inventory of items like canoes, tents, packs and sleeping bags, so "drop in" rentals can generally be accommodated.

Reservations for Brent
Complete outfitting reservations for our remote Brent base must be made at least four weeks in advance by contacting our main base in Oxtongue Lake. Canoe reservations should be made at least two weeks ahead. Call 1-800-469-4948 (705-635-2243) or contact us to inquire about availability.

How To Make a Reservation
Algonquin Outfitters accepts reservations by phone, mail, fax, e-mail or through the on-line reservation form below. Before you make a reservation, make sure you know trip dates, numbers of people and what type of package or equipment you are interested in. If you are not sure, please call and talk to any of our knowledgeable staff. The Oxtongue Lake base is open year round and we are always happy to talk about canoe trips! If you make a reservation and find that numbers or dates change later, we will be happy to change your reservation.

No matter how you choose to make a reservation, take the time to read the form carefully. You can print it for mailing or faxing later. If time permits, you can make a mail, phone, fax or e-mail reservation and mail a cheque to pay the deposit. If you do this, please indicate your name and trip dates on the cheque.

Review the reservation form so you will make the best use of long distance time. Have your credit card handy for the deposit. Call 1-800-469-4948 (705-635-2243) any day of the week to reserve at Oxtongue Lake, Huntsville and Brent and for complete outfitting at Opeongo. By E-mail
Using the reservation form as a guideline, send us all information relevant to your reservation. If you are not comfortable sending credit card information by e-mail, give us a follow-up call or fax with the number. Our reservations e-mail form.

By Internet
Call to check availability if necessary. Fill out the on-line reservation form by clicking on the link below. Your reservation will automatically be e-mailed to us and a copy of your reservation will be available for you to print out. If you are not comfortable sending credit card information over the Internet, give us a follow-up call or fax with the details.

By Mail
Download and print the PDF version of the reservation form by clicking on the link below. Include the reservation form and a cheque, in Canadian or US funds, or provide credit card information. If you are booking a Complete Outfitting package and have a completed menu, include that too; if not, we'll send one with your confirmation or you can complete it on-line.

Deposits
Deposits made in advance will be refunded with 72 hours advance notice of cancellation. A signed credit card imprint (Visa, MC, Amex) will be taken on arrival as security and is required for any rental. If you do not have a credit card, be prepared to leave a minimum $500 cash deposit. A $750 minimum deposit is required for whitewater rentals.

Partial Outfitting Deposit
Credit card required to hold the rental upon reservation. We charge a $20 per canoe for cancellations less than 72 hours ahead or "no-shows."

Complete Outfitting Deposit: $50 per person payable on booking.

Water Taxi Deposit: $50 per trip

Guided Trips: $100 per person payable on booking
